April 18 is now a 1/2 day of school

Due to the amount of snow days this past winter, the Board of Education has approved the scheduling of a half-day of of school on Friday, April 18. This day was previously supposed to be off for the Good Friday holiday. Students will be dismissed at their normal half-day dismissal times of 11:45, 11:50 or 11:55 depending on this building.

7th graders and Parents - Interested in Washington D.C. trip??

We are already planning for the 2015 Summer Washington D.C. trip. We will also be going to Gettysburg. There will be an information meeting on Tuesday, April 22nd at 7:00 p.m. in Mr. Kogge’s room, 101.

Local restaurants have agreed to donate a certain % of their proceeds!! Each month features a different place and day.


April features Hastings Big Boy. Eat on any Thursday in April between 4-9 pm and they will donate 10% of their sales. No coupon or flyer is needed!

Where: Barry Community Enrichment Center, 231 South Broadway, Hastings

When:  4th Tuesday of the month, 6:00 to 7:00, Child care provided

Meeting will be informational and have a social.
