Selection of the Distinguished Alumnus of the Year
The Board of Directors of the Hastings High School Alumni Association now accepting nominations for the 2022 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year. Cutoff date is July 15, 2022 for individuals to be considered for the Hastings High School Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award to be presented at the annual banquet on August 27, 2022. Any classmate, friend, family member and or member of the community can make a nomination for this prestigious award.* Nominations must be typed and must contain biographical information and reasons why the individual is being nominated. Reasons can include accomplishments, vocation, honors and awards received, community service, organization memberships, personal character, and other helpful information. The nominee can be residing anywhere, not necessarily Hastings, but must be an alumnus of Hastings High School.
* The Alumni Board would like to continue to consider previously submitted nominations, as well as new nominations. The Board encourages anyone who has submitted nominations in the past to resubmit them again with up-to-date information for the Board's consideration.
The Board will review all nominees and elect the recipient (s) by ballot. Nomination letters for the Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award should be sent to the President of the Alumni Association. Lois (Tobias) Bowers, 102 E. Clinton St, Hastings, MI 49058.
