Dress Up Days for Homecoming
Monday: Meme Monday

Tuesday: Summerween (Appropriate Halloween apparel or costume)

Thursday: Dress in your grade level shirt or on theme

Friday: Saxon Spirit Blue and Gold

Homecoming will be the week of 9/19 - 9/26/2026. This year "the magic, the myth, and the force come home this Homecoming season!".

Float Building begins Sunday, September 13. Check your grade level schedule in the hallways or online for building days, time

and locations.

 


Homecoming Dance Tickets
Dance tickets go on sale Monday September 14! They will be available at both lunches for $15 each. Tickets may only be purchased for individual’s 9th grade - 20 years of age. If you plan on bringing a guest from another school, please obtain a guest form at the ticket table and get it back to the main office no later than Thursday September 24. Only students of high
school age -20 will be permitted at the dance.

 

Powder Puff
The Powder Puff game will take place on Tuesday, September 22nd at 7pm! Plan to come for the game and stay for the bonfire immediately after.

Lifeguard Certification Course
Dates:

·  Friday, Oct. 2 – 3:30–6:00 PM

·  Saturday, Oct. 3 – 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

·  Sunday, Oct. 4 – 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Some online coursework must be completed before the in-person sessions.
Training and certification will be provided — no experience necessary!


CLUBS

Interact Club / Blood Drive
Donate Blood, Save Lives!

The Interact Club is hosting the first blood drive of the school year on Monday, September 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Aux Gym.

Students must be at least 16 years old to donate. Donors who are 16 years old must have a completed parent/guardian consent form, available in the office.

All eligible donors will receive a Versiti water bottle and sticker pack while supplies last.

YIG
SAXONS! 

The City to Students application is open and has been sent to 9th and 10th grade emails. This is really unique opportunity for students to be involved in their local government.  The application and parent permission slips are due by October 14.  Permission slips can be turned into Ms. Putnam in room, B205.  If you need a permission slip, please see me for copy. If you have questions, please see Ms. Putnam or Meredith Ansorge. (9/22)

Attention HHS YIG delegation: There will be a mandatory meeting for all new and old members on Sunday, September 20th, from 1PM - 2PM in Ms. Putnam's room, B205 to discuss Fall Conference. If you cannot make this meeting, you need to see Ms. Putnam on Monday. (9/18)

JV Football beat Coldwater last night 32-14. It was a team effort that allowed the Saxons to earn their first win of the season.
