The Friends of HPAC are Seeking Wall of Fame Nominations

The Friends of HPAC (Hastings Performing Arts Center) are seeking nominations for 2024 induction into The Groos Family Fine Arts Wall of Fame.  Nominees can be any past or present community member that has stood out in their contributions to the excellence in the arts or support of the arts.

A nominee should be either a group within the Hastings community at large or a person that has either lived in or is from the Hastings area and has contributed significantly to the Hastings Arts culture or utilized their talents with significant impact to others.   They could also be a group or person that has made a significant contribution in areas such as, but not limited to; Application or Teaching of the Arts, Performance of the Arts, Service to the Arts or Sponsorship of the Arts.

Our community is very grateful for the many volunteers, community members and groups that provide countless hours of time to our local arts projects and programs in the area.  Thanks to their contribution, a higher level of education and performance excellence is experienced by all ages in the Hastings area.

A nominee can be presented to the Friends of HPAC by anyone simply by submitting a nominee name, a short story of their contributions and YOUR contact information so we can contact you for further information. Nominations will be accepted through February 25th at midnight.  You may submit a nominee by one of the following three ways:

We at the Friends of HPAC will review all nominations and will select candidates for the Friends of HPAC Wall of Fame induction ceremony planned for May.    Again, it is important if you are nominating someone to include their name, a short story of their contributions and YOUR contact information, so we can contact you for further information.

The Groos Family Fine Arts Wall of Fame came to be in the Spring of 2022.  As a permanent fixture of the Hastings Performing Arts Center, it's purpose is to graciously acknowledge individuals and groups for their contributions to the Arts.

Our community is very grateful for the many volunteers, community members, philanthropists,  and groups that provide support and countless hours of time to help with our Arts projects and programs in the area.  With the support of all who are involved in our community Arts, we are able to help provide the level of education and performance excellence that we now experience for all ages in our greater Hastings area.
