Welcome From the Superintendent

Hello Saxon Families! 

I'm excited to introduce myself as your new Superintendent and express my deep gratitude for your support in passing the recent bond and your ongoing support of the sinking fund. These achievements reflect our collective commitment to enhancing our educational facilities and resources, ensuring we can continue to offer exceptional learning environments for every student.

 

Our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is key to our success, providing essential academic, social, and emotional support for all students. We’re excited to build on the progress and achievements MTSS has helped us attain.

 

The Hastings Performing Arts Center (HPAC) reflects our dedication to the arts, serving as a creative hub where students explore their passions and connect with the community. 

 

The 'What's Your Plan' initiative encourages students to think critically about their futures, offering guidance and tools to achieve their goals. Whether pursuing college, the military, or the workforce, our Saxons are ready to succeed after graduation.

 

Our CTE programs are a true "Field of Dreams" for students. The comprehensive career and technical education tracks at HASS provide students with hands-on, practical experience that prepares them for the workforce and higher education. The emphasis on career readiness is commendable, and the success of these programs is a reflection of the forward-thinking vision and dedication of the HASS team and the support of our community. 

 

Indeed, it has been a "great day to be a Saxon," and I am excited about the future possibilities that lie ahead. Together, we can continue to build on our successes and create even more opportunities for our students to excel. It is through our collective efforts that we will continue to make the Hastings Area School System a point of pride in our community!  I look forward to meeting all of you soon.
