The Friends of HPAC are Seeking Wall of Fame Nominations
The Friends of HPAC are planning to install a Wall of Fame at the Hastings Performing Arts Center to graciously acknowledge individuals or groups for their contributions to the Arts.   This year will be the inaugural year, and we are currently seeking nominee candidates and their stories to put together our first ceremony in May of 2022.
Our community is very grateful for the many volunteers, community members, philanthropists,  and groups that provide support and countless hours of time to help with our Arts projects and programs in the area.  With the support of all who are involved in our community Arts, we are able to help provide the level of education and performance excellence that we now experience for all ages in our greater Hastings area.
So who can you nominate and how can we do it…
A nominee should be:
  • a group within the Hastings community at large
  • a person that has either lived in or is from the Hastings area and has contributed significantly to the Hastings Arts culture
  • a group or person that has made a significant contribution in areas such as, but not limited to:
    • Application or Teaching of the Arts
    • Performance of the Arts
    • Service to the Arts
    • Sponsorship of the Arts
A nominee can be presented to the Friends of HPAC by anyone simply by submitting a nominee name, a short story of their contributions and YOUR contact information so we can contact you for further information.   Nominations will be accepted through April 11 at midnight.  You may submit a nominee by one of the following three ways:
  • Mail: Hastings Performing Arts Center WOF, 520 W. South Street, Hastings, MI 49058.
  • Email: HPAC@hassk12.org
  • Google Form: CLICK HERE
We at the Friends of HPAC will review all nominations and will select candidates for the inaugural Friends of HPAC Wall of Fame induction ceremony planned for May. Again, it is important if you are nominating someone to include their name, a short story of their contributions, and YOUR contact information, so we can contact you for further information.
